Accor chain opens in Malaga the first low cost hotel, Etap, with 125 rooms and is a new concept of accommodation in the centre of the town, in the street Calvo, at a rate of 39 Euros.

The category given by the Junta de Andalucía is one star “but it has nothing to do with a hostel” as pointed out by the chain. In fact, it is an increasingly widespread concept, with a minimalist design and already exists in other Spanish cities such as Granada, Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Bilbao, Gerona and more recently Oviedo.

This hotel is aimed predominantly at international clients who already know these establishments. In fact, in Europe there are more than 380 Etap in countries like Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Switzerland, etc.

Etap Málaga Centre offers customers Internet access via Wi-Fi in the rooms and also has a car park and proposes breakfast with branded products, varied and healthy for only 3.90 Euros.

Etap Hotel is an economy brand of Accor, which operates mainly in Europe and provides customers ‘low cost’, with rooms for one, two or three people. They are usually located near major roads, airports and in city centres.
